Ideal for harsh conditions where permanence and durability are critical, IMS Permafuse™ Terminations are the answer to the age-old problems of standard crimp-on terminations.   Because the terminal is actually fused to the wire lead through a carefully controlled process, the resulting termination is better suited for resisting failure due to shock, vibration and motion. The fusing process also maximizes conductor to terminal surface area contact, minimizing contact resistance.

Permafuse™ Terminations come standard with UL/ CSA approved, solder dipped XCelflex™ wire. This highly flexible wire easily conforms to your most extreme space constraints and/or continuous motion environments, while giving you piece of mind in failure critical applications.  Permafuse™ constructions are completely customizable with different flexible wire styles, terminal hole counts, sizes and shapes (slotted or oblong), as well as custom terminal designs (diagonally-cut, chamfered, bent).  Initial tooling lead time is only four (4) weeks for any lug style.
